Experience must include five years of performing audits under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards GAAS, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board PCAOB, American Institute Of Certified Public Accountants AICPA auditing standards, SarbanesOxley SOX, and International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS; determining riskbased external audit procedures and current accounting and auditing guidelines; testing internal controls pursuant to SOX methodology for public companies and testing clients financial statement balances; working with companies to prepare consolidated financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS financial statements reporting requirements; utilizing audit software, including engagement management software to perform tracking for audit engagements; utilizing advanced Excel tools including Pivot Tables, VLookup, and macros to perform analytics on financial statements and analyze financial ratios; interacting directly with senior management of the audit team and audit clients to discuss auditing issue resolution and continuity; supervising engagements, including the full life cycle of the audit, staffing, budgeting, closing out projects, and mentoring and coaching junior staff; and interacting with accounting and auditing specialists within complex accounting areas, including pricing, tax, valuation, and information technology specialists. Must possess CPA license or passage of all four parts of CPA examination. Less than 10 travel outside of normal commuting distance.
