Specific Skills:This position requires a Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Polymer Science, Manufacturing Quality Engineering or related field, plus 8 years of work experience in discrete or continuous manufacturing processes. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with 1 Quality tools for corrective and preventive actions for quality resolutions using root cause analysis tools such as 5Why, and Fault Tree Analysis; 2 Maintaining an ISO system ISO 9001 to sustain the processes through supply chain activities; 3 Using Six Sigma concepts to defect reduction, and waste reduction; 4 Design of Experiments DoE using multiple variables and factors, derived through validation or negation of hypothesis; and 5 Early life cycle engagement with design engineering and product development to ensure that new products can be brought viably into mainstream manufacturing.
