Experience must include working with the following clinical concepts, terminology and workflow as they apply to pediatrics; coding systems, data types and data structures used to store clinical demographic, and financial data in healthcare databases; Epic Bridges; Healthcare Standards Interoperability; HL7 v2.x and v3.x CDA standards; developing processes and interfaces using HL7 CCD transactions; using and maintaining interface engines such as Corepoint; advanced relational database concepts, SQL syntax, and coding practices; dimensional data modeling concepts used in data warehousing, business intelligence and business analytics applications; translating reporting needs expressed in clinical or operational terms to technical solutions bases on existing data, data structures and query tool functionality.br H.12 PLEASE NOTE that the requirements bear a reasonable relationship to the occupation of Data Warehousing Specialist, in the context of the research hospital industry and are essential to perform the job in a reasonable manner. This is a Healthcare Data Analyst position all of our Healthcare Data Analysts have at least the education and experience listed in the minimum requirements, and we would not hire anyone who did not possess these credentials. This employee must have the indepth, complex, and theoretical understanding of computer science methods and theory, gained through a university degree, in order to provide the level of reporting, analysis and data manipulation required of this position. As this employee is responsible for supporting the data delivery and quality of reporting and dashboard solutions for clinical and operational analytics throughout the Pediatric Physicians Organization PPOC at Boston Childrens Hospital, his technical skills must be excellent. In addition, because of the nature of this position, the advanced responsibilities it entails including writing queries and code to harvest data from legacy systems, data conversion, and developing interfaces as part of integration or interoperability projects, the industryspecific duties including working with Electronic Health Records, interacting with clinical, financial and administrative end users to understand and develop system capabilities to support analytics, reports and dashboards, and the serious consequences of error when working within the highly regulated hospital and clinical research environments, the employer requires handson experience. We have determined that a Bachelors degree and 3 years of experience is the minimum qualifications necessary to perform this position.
