W.O. Mitchell School的学生们在2月15日星期三以多种不同的方式庆祝国旗日。课堂上的伙伴活动凸显了作为加拿大人的意义以及加拿大国旗的重要性。学生们还将其与说西班牙语的国家的国旗进行了联系。
以“奥加大”（O Canada）的方式合唱，在“学校环形”格式下演唱，并配上行动视频，对学生和教职员工来说也是非常难忘的时刻。
整个学校社区对拍摄一张集体照以庆祝加拿大的150岁生日尤为兴奋…不仅享受活动，还享受15摄氏度的天气…这难道是巧合吗？我们认为不是！

Students at W.O. Mitchell School recognized Flag Day on Wednesday, Feb. 15 in many different ways. Classroom buddy activities highlighted what it means to be Canadian as well as the significance of the Canadian flag. Students also made connections to the flags of countries where Spanish is spoken.
The singing of “O Canada” in ‘school in the round’ format, along with the accompanying action video was also very memorable for students and staff.
The entire school community was especially excited to pose for a group photo honouring Canada’s sesquicentennial birthday… enjoying not only activity but the 15 degree Celcius weather… a coincidence? We think not!
