Hui Wen, a student at Western Canada High School, is one of six recipients of the LORAN Award in Alberta, the only one in Calgary. The LORAN Award assess approximately 4,000 applicants and select up to 33 promising young Canadians as LORAN Scholars, based on evidence of integrity, courage, compassion, grit and a high level of personal autonomy.
