2017年是加拿大的150岁生日！ 在2月27日至3月3日这一周，Bowcroft School 非常高兴地与特技剧院合作，庆祝加拿大的历史和文化。

学生们参与了丰富的艺术过程，探索什么是属于我们国家和成为加拿大人的含义。每个班级都创作了一个独特的实体剧作，使用各种服装和道具来讲述一个故事。

其中一些故事包括：利用折叠桌来讲述德国移民抵达加拿大的经历，创造一个关于地下铁路的影子戏剧，以及使用冰球网作为道具的现代作品，探讨难民如何为包容的社会做出贡献。

​2017 is Canada’s 150th birthday! During the week of February 27-March 3, Bowcroft School was delighted to partner with Trickster Theatre in a celebration of Canada’s history and culture.

Students were engaged in a rich artistic process to explore what it means to belong in our country and be a Canadian.  Each class created an original work of physical theatre using a variety of costumes and props to tell a story. 

Some of the stories included: using folding tables to tell the experience of a German immigrant arriving in Canada, the creation of a shadow-play about the Underground Railroad, and a contemporary piece using hockey nets as props which examined how refugees contribute to an inclusive society.
