音乐周是一个全国性的庆祝活动，每年定于五月的第一个星期一在加拿大全境举行。我们的“音乐周”音乐会原定于今年五月四日（由于今年春天的加拿大天气原因）在约翰·帕利瑟船长学校的山坡上举行，为观众提供关于加拿大的灵感和教育，同时也有助于推广我们学校和社区的音乐教育。

​All kindergarten thru Grade 6 students at Captain John Palliser School have been celebrating Canada 150 this year by focusing on Canadian music.  By exploring artists and music from a variety of genres and cultural perspectives, we have gained insight into Canada's history, geography, values and daily life. 

As a critical thinking challenge, our Grade 5/6 classes contributed to the creation of the program order and script. 

Music Monday is a national celebration, scheduled to take place across Canada on the first Monday in May each year. Our "Music Monday" concert, which was held on Thursday, May 4 (thanks to the Canadian weather this spring), on the hill at Captain John Palliser School, provided inspiration and education about Canada for our audience, as well as helped to promote music education in our schools and community.
