During the 2016-17 school year the CBE engaged with parents, students, teachers, mathematicians and post-secondary educators on what they wanted to see in our K-12 Mathematics Strategy. Their input, along with data on CBE student achievement, educational research and the provincial context has helped to inform our strategy.
Today, we are sharing an overview of our strategy. In the fall, we will be sharing more details about the strategy with schools and parents. Through the school development planning process, schools will be working with their communities to identify how the strategy can contribute to their specific goals.
