教育委员会已经批准了与艾伯塔省教师协会（ATA）在2018年2月9日达成的谅解备忘录（MOA）。

MOA涉及到合同在本地的集体谈判方面，该合同于2016年8月31日到期。包括教师薪酬在内的核心问题正在由教师雇主谈判协会（TEBA）和ATA在全省范围内进行协商。

MOA的亮点包括：

• 为副校长增加一天调休
• 为在加拿大武装部队预备役服役的教师增加预备役休假
• 将Louise Dean School列入校长津贴资格范围，以考虑其在确保第三方供应商提供合同服务方面的责任
• 更改CBe-learn教师了解函的措辞
• 教师每学年有机会保留两天的个人假期
• 符合特定条件的代课教师将有机会参加每年2月的教师大会，并获得工资
• 增加了病假委员会和专业资金委员会

新的MOA将于2018年8月31日到期。更新后的集体协议将在CBE网站上提供。

中央集体谈判的日期尚未最终确定。

The Board of Trustees has ratified the Feb. 9, 2018 memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA).

The MOA addresses the local collective bargaining aspects of the contract, which expired on Aug. 31, 2016. Central matters, including teacher pay, are being negotiated at the provincial level by the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA) and the ATA.

Highlights of the MOA include:

• the addition of one lieu day for assistant principals
• the addition of reservist leave for teachers who serve in in the reserves of the Canadian Armed Forces
• the addition of Louise Dean School, for principal allowance eligibility, to account for their responsibility in ensuring third party providers deliver contracted services
• changes to the wording in the letter of understanding for CBe-learn teachers
• the opportunity for teachers to carry over two days of personal leave each school year 
• substitute teachers who meet specific criteria will be provided an opportunity to attend the annual February teachers’ convention with pay
• the addition of a Sick Leave Committee and Professional Funding Committee 

The new MOA will expire on Aug. 31, 2018. The updated collective agreement will be posted on the CBE website once available.

Central bargaining dates are not yet finalized.
