Lester B. Pearson High School celebrated their ongoing partnership with Ross Glen, Chairman of RGO Products Ltd., at the school’s Academic Awards Night on May 30, 2018. Mr. Glen’s generous contributions to the school and community have made a significant difference to students and learning.

Since the Spring of 2014, LBPHS Work Experience students have assisted Mr. Glen’s company in furniture delivery and assembly. The Ross Glen Scholarship was established in 2017 with EducationMatters. This scholarship is intended to assist students who may be in financial need, and who have a passion for the trades or post-secondary studies and will thereby carry on Mr. Glen’s legacy at Lester B. Pearson and in the community.

Mr. Glen presented the 2018 Ross Glen Scholarships to four Lester B. Pearson students; Hamid S., Iris C., Rupinder M. and Michaela D.

Most recently, Mr. Glen has donated an additional $78,000 to LBPHS to help with the diverse needs of the school body. These funds will be used to support student learning in a variety of ways, through supporting financial literacy programs, student initiatives and the school’s Student Nutrition Program.
