在我们结束又一个学年之际，我们向家庭提供关于2018-19学年的我的CBE账户、费用支付、减免和交通等重要信息。

在暑假期间，卡尔加里教育局将实施一套名为PowerSchool的新的学生信息系统。新系统将拥有一个家长门户网站，让家庭能够访问目前通过我的CBE账户和家庭逻辑可获得的服务。它将允许家庭在一个便捷的地方跟踪学生的考勤和成绩，注册服务并支付费用。有关新系统的更多信息将在八月和新学年开始之后提供。

在这个夏天的转变之前，重要的是所有未解决的事务，包括当前学年的交通注册和未支付的费用都在6月29日星期五之前完成。

我的CBE账户

每年七月初我的CBE账户将无法使用，因为系统将更新下一个学年的信息。您将无法在6月29日下午4点后访问您的账户直到7月6日。之后，大多数服务将在系统于7月24日永久关闭前可用。

PowerSchool家长门户网站

从八月份开始，家庭将需要创建一个新账户才能访问新的在线PowerSchool家长门户网站。这将允许继续访问在线交通注册和以前在我的CBE账户中完成的在线费用支付。您无需重新注册交通服务。

为了创建一个访问新的PowerSchool家长门户网站的账户，您将需要您的孩子的CBE学生ID号码。您可以在以下几个地方找到您孩子的CBE学生ID号码:

• 查看您当前的我的CBE账户。
• 参考您孩子的学生ID卡。

交通

只要我的CBE账户仍然可用，家庭就可以继续申请黄色校车服务，并在新的PowerSchool家长门户启动后再次申请。虽然您的地址在此期间不会被纳入路线规划，但学生可以在感恩节前访问您所在区域的站点。

修改后的日历学校的新路线将在8月13日的cbe.ab.ca/busstop上发布，传统日历学校的新路线将在8月29日发布。

所有注册黄色校车交通服务的家庭将在十月份收到确认电子邮件。如果您改变了明年使用黄色校车服务的意向，您可以在2018年10月31日之前在线取消注册，而不会产生任何经济惩罚。

符合条件的学生提交卡尔加里公共交通车票退款申请的截止日期为2018年7月31日。

The following information was sent to all CBE parents/guardians on Monday, June 25:

As we wrap up another school year, we have some important information for families about My CBE Account, fee payments, waivers and transportation for the 2018-19 school year.

Over the summer, the Calgary Board of Education will implement a new student information system called PowerSchool. The new system will have a parent portal that will allow families to access the services that are currently available through MyCBE Account and Home Logic. It will allow families to track student attendance and grades, as well as register for services and pay fees in one convenient location. More information about the new system will be available starting in August and as the new school year begins.

In advance of this change over the summer, it is important that all outstanding business, including transportation registration and payment of outstanding fees for the current school year be completed by Friday, June 29.

My CBE Account

Each year My CBE Account is unavailable in early July as the system updates information for the next school year. You will not be able to access your account starting at 4 p.m. on June 29 until July 6. After that time, most services will be available until the system is permanently disabled on July 24.

PowerSchool Parent Portal

Starting in August, families will have to create a new account to access the new online PowerSchool parent portal. This will allow continued access to online transportation registration and to make online fee payments which were previously completed in My CBE Account. You do not need to re-register for transportation.

To create an account to access the new PowerSchool parent portal, you will need your child’s CBE Student ID Number. There are a number of places you can find your child’s CBE student ID number:

• Check your child's most recent report card.
• Check your current My CBE Account.
• Refer to your child's student ID card.
• Ask your child.
• Please visit your school in person to request the number. The CBE cannot give out this number over the phone.

Fees

We expect fees for the 2018-19 school year will be available in the new parent portal starting in August and throughout September and October. Families can begin to make fee payments as soon as they create a new PowerSchool parent portal account. Please check the parent portal regularly as fees may not all appear at once.

Transportation

Yellow school bus pre-registration closed on June 15, 2018. The transportation team is currently creating routes for the 2018-19 school year based on the addresses submitted before the cut off date.

Families can continue to apply for yellow school bus service as long as My CBE Account is still available and then again when the new PowerSchool parent portal is launched. While CBE Transportation continues to accept registrations, these applications will not be included in yellow bus route planning until route changes are done after Thanksgiving. Although your address will not be considered in the route planning until this time, students can access stops that are within your area prior to Thanksgiving.

New routes will be posted at cbe.ab.ca/busstop by Aug. 13 for modified calendar schools and by Aug. 29 for traditional calendar schools. 

All families registered for yellow school bus transportation will receive a confirmation email in October. If you change your mind about using yellow school bus service next year, you can cancel your registration online by Oct. 31, 2018 with no financial penalty.

The deadline for eligible students to submit Calgary Transit passes for rebate is July 31, 2018.

Families are also reminded to keep their child’s ZPass as this is a multi-year pass that will be reactivated and used again next year.

More information will be available on our website and your child’s school website in August.
