Many of you have been asking about the recruitment for a new Chief Superintendent and we wanted to give you a short update.

We have worked through the summer and into the fall to take the necessary time to ensure we hire the right person for this critical role. Our goal is to have the new Superintendent of Schools hired by the end of 2018. 

In the meantime, David Stevenson has agreed to continue in his role as Chief Superintendent. The Board thanks Chief Stevenson for his ongoing support and leadership.

We will update you when the recruitment process concludes and we can introduce our new Chief Superintendent.
