Western Canada High School（西加拿大高中）于11月6日（星期二）举办了一年一度的高中音乐会，吸引了现有和未来的学生参与。这次活动包括四所学校：Bishop Pinkham学校、Rideau Park学校、Elboya学校和Calgary Girls' School，并与西加拿大高中十年级乐队一起参加了大型乐队音乐会，共同庆祝一个充满音乐的晚上。

为了在11月6日的舞台上展现出才华横溢的音乐家形象，学生们在音乐会前的两个月里努力学习和发展各种音乐经验。音乐会突出展示了每个初中乐队独特和出色的音乐才能，学生们展示了他们不断努力的成果。当晚的表演还包括西加拿大高中十年级音乐会乐队的演出，向家长观众展示了新十年级学生在他们教育生涯进入高中阶段时所取得的显著进步。

音乐会的另一个精彩环节是西加拿大高中高级爵士乐队的表演，使观众能够了解到在学生进入高中时，学校提供的多种音乐机会。这些表演最终达到音乐会的高潮：大型乐队演奏了一首热门流行歌曲，以有趣而激动人心的方式结束音乐会。这个活动使400多位才华横溢的学生通过参与各自的乐队计划成为一个共同体。

这次音乐会展示了K-12学习年限内音乐教育的价值。对以下乐队及其指导老师的精彩表演表示衷心祝贺：

​Western Canada High School was buzzing with current and future students for the high school’s annual Feeder School Concert on Tuesday, Nov. 6. This event included four schools: Bishop Pinkham, Rideau Park, Elboya, and the Calgary Girls’ School who all participated in a mass band concert with the high school’s very own Grade 10 Band, celebrating a music-enriched evening.

Students worked hard and developed through various musical experiences for the two months leading up to the concert in order to grow into the talented musicians seen on stage on Nov. 6. The concert highlighted each junior high band’s unique and exceptional musicianship as students showed off their progressive hard work. The night also featured a performance from the Western Canada High School Grade 10 Concert Band, demonstrating to the parent audience the remarkable progress achieved by new Grade 10 students as they transitioned into the high school stage of their education.

Another phenomenal addition to the concert was a performance from the Western High School’s Senior Jazz Band, which allowed the audience to see the multiple music opportunities available at the school when students reach high school. These performances all lead up to the grand finale of the night: the mass band performance. All six bands perform a popular pop tune together as a fun and exciting way to end the concert. This event brought together over 400 talented students as one community through their involvement in their respective band programs.  

This concert demonstrated the value in a music education during the K-12 formative years. A huge congratulation goes to the following bands and their directors on a fantastic performance:
