As a reward for students efforts for collecting food bank donations, teacher and Calgary’s Strongest Man competitor, James Loach pulled a yellow school bus as the school cheered him on.

Students at Sir John Franklin School collected food donations for the Calgary Food Bank throughout the month of December. As a reward for their efforts, teacher and Calgary’s Strongest Man competitor, James Loach pulled a yellow school bus as the school cheered him on.
The class that collected the most food bank donations had a front row seat inside the bus that Mr. Loach pulled along with all of the donated items. The total weigh of the bus, students and food was more than 36,000 pounds.
Following the event, Mr. Loach accompanied the winning class to the Calgary Food Bank to deliver the donations.
