校董会承认我们的社区对学生的成功和福祉起到了巨大的贡献，同时也在5月17日由汇丰银行赞助的年度 Better Together 早餐会上表达了谢意。

特别感谢博尼斯高中主办今年的活动。学校的烹饪项目学生和教师为代表了67个机构、团体和组织的180名嘉宾准备了一顿出色的早餐。学生还通过表演和展示展示了他们的才华和学习成果。

“我们的学校是复杂的地方，我们不能独自完成这项工作，”博尼斯高中校长 Jana Macdonald 说。

Macdonald 校长向观众提醒了一句非洲谚语 - 如果你想走快，就独自前进。如果你想走远，就一起前进。

​Students and schools continue to benefit from a wide-range of supports and services that come from partnerships with corporate and community-based organizations as well as individual donors.

The CBE recognized the enormous contribution that our community makes to support student success and well-being both in and out of the classroom at our annual Better Together Breakfast on May 17, sponsored by HSBC.

A special thank you to Bowness High School for hosting this year’s event. The school’s culinary program students and teachers went above and beyond preparing an exceptional breakfast for the 180 guests who represented 67 agencies, groups and organizations. Students also shared their many talents and learning through performances and displays at the breakfast.

“Our schools are complex places and we cannot do this work alone,” said Jana Macdonald, principal Bowness High School.

Principal Macdonald reminded the audience of an African proverb - If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. 

The CBE is grateful for the individuals and organizations who invest their time, resources and money in improving the learning and the lives of children and youth in our city.
