​每年的6月21日是全加拿大国家土著人民日。这一天是加拿大人和社区团结一致，认识到历史上和当代的第一民族、梅蒂斯族和因纽特族在加拿大做出的多样文化和杰出贡献的日子。

CBE土著教育团队以各种方式来实现这一目标，其中之一是承认今年所有毕业的土著学生的辛勤工作和奉献。尽管这一学年非常具有挑战性，但与以往相比，土著学生在顺利毕业的道路上的总人数有所增加。这证明了土著学生及其家庭的强大韧性和决心。

​National Indigenous Peoples Day is honoured annually on June 21. It is a day for all Canadians and communities to come together and recognize the diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples in Canada, both historical and contemporary.

One of the ways the CBE Indigenous Education Team is doing this is by acknowledging the hard work and dedication of all graduating Indigenous students this year. Despite this being an incredibly challenging school year, there has been an increase in the total number of Indigenous students are on track to graduate compared to previous years. This is evidence of the strong resiliency and determination of Indigenous students and their families.

On June 21, these students will be presented with a video comprised of congratulatory messages from Elders and Knowledge Keepers as well as an honour song gifted to them by Frank and Darcy Turning Robe. While we still hope to come together in the fall to honour these students in person, we hope that in the meantime this video will serve as a reminder that their accomplishment has not gone unnoticed and that their community is incredibly proud of them.
