In response to the Prime Minister declaring March 11, 2021 as a National Day of Observance to remember those who have died as a result of COVID-19, flags at Calgary Board of Education schools and buildings will be at half-mast for the rest of the day.
We encourage everyone to take a moment to honour the memory of those we have lost, and the people they left behind. And to recognize our health care workers and everyone on the front lines fighting against the virus.
