整个夏季，社区合作伙伴努力确保所有新生和老生都能带着学习所需的一切回到学校。春季时，校长们分享了他们学校有多少学生需要新背包和学习用品，需求非常大，超过了3000个背包。由于社区企业的慷慨捐赠，每个学生都将配备所需的学习用品。

特别感谢Staples公司捐赠了成百上千个装满必备用品的背包给有需要的学生。我们非常感谢成百上千名志愿者为这些背包装填和整理。EducationMatters是加拿大卡尔加里公立教育信托基金会，他们还举办了一场在线返校筹款活动，支持学校和新生在整个学年期间有所需的学习用品，帮助他们取得成功。

Throughout the summer, community partners stepped up to ensure that all new and returning CBE students went back to school with everything they need for learning. In the spring, principals shared how many students at their schools could benefit from a new backpack and school supplies, the need was overwhelming - requesting over 3,000 backpacks. Thanks to the generosity of community businesses, every student will be equipped with much needed supplies.

A big thank you goes out to Staples for donating hundreds of backpacks filled with essential supplies for students in need. We are grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who filled and organized those backpacks. EducationMatters, Calgary’s trust for public education, also hosted an online back to school fundraising campaign that will support schools and new students throughout the year to have the supplies they need to help them be successful.
