加拿大教育局（CBE）与加拿大微软公司和卡尔加里市合作，共同发起了“水平提升，卡尔加里！”（Level Up, Calgary!）这是加拿大首个K-12级Minecraft：教育版设计挑战赛。此倡议也得到了卡尔加里公立图书馆的支持。

超过12,000名CBE学生在Minecraft的像素世界中探索、创作和设计。

作为挑战的一部分，学生们在一个自定义的Minecraft世界中进行了设计，其中包括用Minecraft渲染的卡尔加里市中心的核心。学生们被要求根据以下设计提示提交一个设计:我们如何重新设想我们的公共空间，以丰富卡尔加里市民的生活，加强我们的社区?

CBE自豪地宣布2021-22年度CBE Minecraft挑战赛的入围者。

卡尔加里市将在2022年3月2日晚上6:00在calgary.ca/levelup​举行的虚拟颁奖仪式上宣布获奖者。此仪式将被录制并在活动结束后供观看。

CBE has collaborated with Microsoft Canada and the City of Calgary to launch Level Up, Calgary! the first K-12 Minecraft: Education Edition design challenge of its kind in Canada.  This initiative was also supported by the Calgary Public Library.

More than 12,000 CBE students from all grade levels explored, created and prototyped designs in the pixelated world of Minecraft.

As part of the challenge, students accessed a custom Minecraft world, including the heart of Calgary’s downtown core rendered in Minecraft.  Students were asked to submit a design in response to the following design prompt: How might we reimagine our public spaces to enrich the lives of Calgarians and strengthen our community?

CBE is proud to announce the finalists for the 2021-22 CBE Minecraft Challenge. 

Every student demonstrated creativity, collabo​ration and problem-solving throughout this challenge. We are very proud of all participating students and teachers and have been very impressed with what you’ve built! 

The City of Calgary will announce the winners at a virtual awards ceremony streamed at calgary.ca/levelup​ at 6:00 p.m. on March 2, 2022. The ceremony will be recorded and available to view following the event.
