On March 4, the Government of Alberta announced funding for the design and construction of a new middle school (Grades 5-9) in the community of Evanston.

CBE目前有五个新建学校项目正在开发中，将在未来几年内向学生开放：
2022年3月8日的公开董事会会议上，CBE董事会将接收2023-2026三年校园资本计划的文件，该文件详细说明了优先建设的新学校和主要的现代化请求。每年，学校教育机构都需要在4月1日之前批准并提交其优先事项给阿尔伯塔省教育厅。

On Friday, March 4, the Government of Alberta announced funding for the design and construction of a new middle school (Grades 5-9) in the community of Evanston.
“On behalf of the students and community of Evanston, we thank the Government of Alberta for today’s announcement. A new middle school in Evanston was the top priority on last year’s Three-Year School Capital Plan. This school will allow students to attend school closer to home and as a growing school system, we welcome these additional learning spaces,” said CBE Board Vice-Chair Susan Vukadinovic.
The CBE currently has five new school construction projects under development that will open to students in the next few years:
At the March 8, 2022 public board meeting, the CBE Board of Trustees will receive the Three-Year School Capital Plan 2023-2026 which outlines the prioritized new schools and major modernization requests. Annually, school jurisdictions are required to approve and submit their priorities to Alberta Education by April 1.
“Following this most recent announcement, the Board will now turn its attention to reviewing and approving an updated capital plan later this month to identify our new and ongoing priorities for new schools and major modernizations.” said Vukadinovic.
