生活成本的上涨以某种方式影响着每个人，许多家庭都在为日常开支苦苦挣扎。我们不能指望学生在没有必要学习用品的情况下取得成功。CBE请求我们的社区帮助我们确保学生前来学校做好学习准备，并感受到学习社区的一部分。

所有捐赠款项将直接用于向值得的学生提供装满新用品的新背包。背包里的用品为学生提供了在学校和家里所需的工具，使他们能够完成家庭作业或其他特别项目。填满背包的成本约为50美元。我们的目标是筹集15万美元！

Each year the CBE distributes thousands of backpacks filled with supplies to students in need at 70+ schools across Calgary.

The rising cost of living has impacted everyone in one way or another and many families are struggling with day-to-day expenses. We cannot expect students to be successful in school without access to essential school supplies. The CBE is asking you, our community, to help us ensure that students come to school prepared to learn and feel part of the learning community.

​All donations made will go directly to providing a new backpack filled with new supplies to a deserving student. The supplies in the backpacks provide the students with the tools that they need both at school and at home, so they can complete homework assignments or other special projects. It costs approximately $50 for a filled backpack. Our goal is to raise $150,000!
