每年一度的Beakerhead聪明才智挑战邀请艾伯塔省各地学生参加一个简单而富有创意的科学主题挑战。今年，来自卡尔加里各所学校的100多个视频被提交参赛。

挑战要求学生在五个学校日内创造出一个科学的杰出作品。学生们协作设计并建造他们的项目，展示给同学们和世界。Sunalta的学生们利用乒乓球、胡萝卜、泡泡纸、橡皮筋、水桶等各种物品创造出音乐杰作。

这些仅仅是今年Beakerhead聪明才智挑战中Sunalta学校六年级学生们构思出来的创作之一。通过对音乐、声音、电力和物理的知识和实验，学生们合作组建团队，为一部先锋音乐诗作制作了精妙的机械设备。

Jay Ingram和他的团队访问了Sunalta学校，向六年级班级和老师们颁发了备受珍视的Beakerhead奖。Sunalta学校为他们的学生连续第二年获胜感到非常自豪。

Beakerhead’s annual Ingenuity Challenge invites students across Alberta to take part in a simple, creative science-themed challenge. This year there were over 100 videos that were submitted from schools across Calgary.

The challenges require students to create a scientific work of genius in five school days. Students collaboratively designed and built their projects to show their classmates and the world. Sunalta students used ping pongs, carrots, bubble wrap, elastics, buckets and a mirage of other items to create a musical masterpiece.

These were just a few of the creations dreamed up by Sunalta School’s Grade 6 students as part of this year’s Beakerhead Ingenuity Challenge. Drawing upon knowledge and experimentation with music, sound, electricity and physics, students worked in teams to create fantastic machines for an avant-garde work of musical poetry.

Jay Ingram and his team visited Sunalta School to present the Grade 6 classes and their teachers with the coveted Beakerhead Award. Sunalta School is very proud of their students for winning this competition for the second consecutive year.
