原住民杰出学生奖是每年颁发给表现出领导力并通过接纳和尊重土著视角或世界观来激励他人的第一民族、梅蒂斯人或因纽特人学生的荣誉。

成功的候选人将获得赞助参加一次关于领导力和变革的青年会议。该获奖学生还将在其所在的家庭社区或学校通过当地举办的活动予以表彰。

学生可以由其他学生、教师、学校职工、董事、主管或校长提名。

Nominations are now open for the fourth annual Indigenous Shining Student Award, presented by the Education Partners Task Force and sponsored by Alberta Education.

The Indigenous Shining Student Award is an annual recognition awarded to a First Nations, Métis or Inuit student who demonstrates leadership and inspires others through embracing and respecting an aboriginal perspective or world view in an aboriginal perspective.

The successful candidate will receive sponsorship to attend a youth conference on leadership and change. The recipient will also be recognized in their home community or school at a locally arranged event.

Students can be nominated by other students, teachers, school staff, trustees, superintendents or principals.
